Gauge Plate Condition Monitoring System
The OnlinE Gauge Plate Condition Monitoring System is used to detect internal defects in subsea pipelines.
- Connected to a gauge plate on a pig the system is moved thorugh a pipeline.
- Upon detection of a flaw (such as a buckle in the pipe), an alarm (dual rate pinger) will trigger and will be checked by a pinger receiver
- Enables pipeline operators to continue without pig recovery saving significant vessel time and associated costs
