2402RS Subsea Interface
The 2402 is an acoustic RS232 interface/receiver which is designd to work with OnlinE Smart Pingers.
- Works with a 2001RS topside receiver and 2401 hydrophone
- Is able to receive acoustic signals from 8 to 50kHz
- The 2402 is mounted on the ROV with the 2401 hydrophone which can either be mounted on the skid of the ROV or in the manipulator
- The signal is converted into RS232 and sent through the ROV multiplexer where it will be received on the 2001RS in the control room through a data port
