Description:
OEL have a present opportunity for a dynamic Director of Sales. The role will suit a motivated individual having strong business development skills, previous experience in International Sales management and prepared for the challenge of a career with a successful global company. The appointed Director of Sales will be based in our Aberdeen head office and will have a Sales support team of eight. The Director of Sales will form part of the Company's Management Board structure along with members representing Operation and R&D departments and our subsidiary company in Singapore.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Manage and co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Sales department.
- Achieve the Sales targets while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Interface with Marketing and R&D departments to deliver the Company's ambitions for growth.
- Manage the department's budget for travel and exhibitions.
- Identify new agents.
- Optimise market awareness of the Company's products and services.
- Prepare month end and weekly update reports.
Expertise required:
- A track record in International Sales Management and Commercial negotiations.
- A qualification in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering ideally combined with solid experience of pipeline pre-commissioning operations.
- Excellent customer interface skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Ability to travel overseas extensively.
